Santel has both Unix and NT servers. Unix servers offer, at no extra charge, HTML, Perl 5.2.5, PHP, Miva 5.5 and FTP. MySQL 5.0.45 databases are available at $9.95 per month for a database. NT servers offer, at no extra charge, Frontpage Extensions, ASP, ASP Upload, ASP Jpg and ASP Email.

Each web storage package includes one-email account. Additional e-mail addresses are available for $2.00 per month per address. Anti-virus and Spam filtering are provided free of charge.

Website Builder:

Website Builder is a tool that gives you the ability to create a personal or business website from a simple one-page business card to a full-blown shopping cart. No development fees and no programming fees. Just point and click…the best system for those that want a website up quickly and easily. You can choose from 1000's of options for colors, layouts, graphics and more. Adding your own logos and pictures is a simple task.

• One-time intial fee of $70 to register your domain name for 3 years. This will give you a personalized URL or web address, i.e. www.yourdomainname.com

Creating one online store:

• One-time installation fee (includes license): $200.00*

• Monthly fee: $45/month

* This fee does not include customization of the store, entry of products, configuration of store options, or registration with search engines. These extra items are the responsibility of the store owner and/or their web designer.

All E-Commerce pages and online stores will be located on our secure server.

Santel E-Commerce utilizes a Miva Merchant shopping cart system. You can learn more by visiting the Miva Merchant website at www.miva.com. All technical support will also be referred to the Miva Merchant website as they have extensive documentation and user forums, and also offer paid technical support levels and packages. Santel Internet does not provide any technical support for Miva Merchant.

Santel E-Commerce uses something called SSL (Secure Socket Layer). It creates a secure connection between a customer and our e-commerce server (our computer that holds the E-Commerce software). Data that is being transferred is encrypted, making it virtually impossible for hackers to intercept the information passed between the two parties.
